Theatrical and Multimedia Research Institute
The Theatrical and Multimedia Research Institute of the Tîrgu-Mureş University of Arts is set up to create a unitary, harmonious and coherent collaboration at the university level for the whole scientific research activity that is specific to each faculty.
Thus, it will be possible to ensure an efficient management of the human resources, the material and logistics base, so that the research activity of the University of Arts can be developed and asserted nationally and internationally. The Theatrical and Multimedia Research Institute will promote interdisciplinary scientific collaboration for the benefit of the academic community.
The Theatrical and Multimedia Research Institute is established by the Senate Decision No. 49 from 20 September 2017 and works as an internal structure of the University of Arts subordinated to and coordinated by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and has as object of activity:
- supporting culture and art
- valorization of the cultural landscape from a scientific point of view, by research on the theatrical phenomenon
- studying the reciprocal effects of different cultures in the context of international trends and phenomena
- establishing own strategies on topical issues at national and international level.
